Tessa is an Ōtautahi local, she was admitted to the bar in 2022 after attending e Whare Wānanga o Waitaha - University of Canterbury, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science Majoring in Psychology.
Prior to working a Weston Ward and Lascelles, Tessa worked at another Christchurch law firm. She specialises in Family Law areas, including Care of Children, Family Violence, Guardianship disputes and some Relationship Property matters.
Outside of work Tessa is immersed in her community. Tessa is involved in martial arts including, competing, instructing, coaching and refereeing around New Zealand. She is also secretary on the committee undertaking the running of the club.
