Alison Hill

Originally from the North Island, Alison was admitted to the Bar in 2017 and relocated to the South Island in 2018. She moved to Christchurch from Timaru in October 2020 to join Weston Ward & Lascelles as a Solicitor in the Litigation Team. Alison’s practice is focused on Family Law matters, with a particular focus on Family Violence, Care of Children and Oranga Tamariki matters. Alison undertakes matters in Court when appointed as Lawyer to Assist the Court, as well as limited licence applications in the District Court.

Alison enjoys advocating for her clients in Court and aims to find a good, practical outcome wherever possible for clients when they are going through the Family Court system.

Outside of work, Alison enjoys cooking and biking in the outdoors.
